NYC for June?
Currently Listening :: The Devil Wears Prada OST <3
YAY! New layout! I made something very personal, very ‘me’: the music I like, my laptop, my cellphone, my iPod shuffle, my passeport and frequent flyer card, my digital, the food I like, IKEA<3, and my social-netowrking links!
I plan to edit all the pages, update my bio, the credits and links =)
Tell me if there’s something you find aesthetically weird like the font, or 404 pages.. well anything wrong.
Anyways. Back to my life. I might be going to enroll for an English program in NYC during June, since I’m ending school on the 10th. It’s 1900 euros (~2700$?) including classes, 3 weeks in a family, and the plane ticket. I think I would fly on Lufthansa, Paris-Munich-NY-Frankfurt-Paris, as they have a codeshare with United Airlines. Yep, quite expensive I know, but an old friend of ours is willing to pay the half
I was really excited about this.. I mean.. IT’S NEW YORK!!
Since now, the dollar is getting weird, (1 euro = 1.53$, it used to be 1.20$ some time ago O___O WOW) going to the USA as a European is REALLY worth it. Nowadays, instead of getting 1200$ by exchanging 1000 euros, I’d get 1530$.
So I won’t have to look up for an mp4 on Ebay USA anymore, if I travel to NY. I’ll go there and buy it myself XD
Yesterday was ‘back2school’ day. UGH. Our physics teacher left us a bitter taste of this first day at school, as he gave us a ‘little’ test, which turned out to be very long, and so-called EASY. Okay I admit, I haven’t read any books during my vacations, so I’m part guilty. But I do believe that today, as we had physics too, he realized (when he was doing some kind of ‘check-up’ of what we had studied so far) that a part of the lesson which we were tested on the day before has never been studied. Hah. He also gave us back a physics test we had done some time ago.. my grade: 6 out of 20. Whoopie. Fortunately I wasn’t the only one. Even the best students did something very mediocre. As for the maths test, I got 10 out of 20, and I was pretty happy for this, as I actually felt asleep at 6pm after school (instead of revising this test), and consequently, took this test without any lessons in my brain.
