NYC for June?

Currently Listening :: The Devil Wears Prada OST <3

YAY! New layout! I made something very personal, very ‘me’: the music I like, my laptop, my cellphone, my iPod shuffle, my passeport and frequent flyer card, my digital, the food I like, IKEA<3, and my social-netowrking links!
I plan to edit all the pages, update my bio, the credits and links =)
Tell me if there’s something you find aesthetically weird like the font, or 404 pages.. well anything wrong.

Anyways. Back to my life. I might be going to enroll for an English program in NYC during June, since I’m ending school on the 10th. It’s 1900 euros (~2700$?) including classes, 3 weeks in a family, and the plane ticket. I think I would fly on Lufthansa, Paris-Munich-NY-Frankfurt-Paris, as they have a codeshare with United Airlines. Yep, quite expensive I know, but an old friend of ours is willing to pay the half D I was really excited about this.. I mean.. IT’S NEW YORK!!
Since now, the dollar is getting weird, (1 euro = 1.53$, it used to be 1.20$ some time ago O___O WOW) going to the USA as a European is REALLY worth it. Nowadays, instead of getting 1200$ by exchanging 1000 euros, I’d get 1530$.
So I won’t have to look up for an mp4 on Ebay USA anymore, if I travel to NY. I’ll go there and buy it myself XD

Yesterday was ‘back2school’ day. UGH. Our physics teacher left us a bitter taste of this first day at school, as he gave us a ‘little’ test, which turned out to be very long, and so-called EASY. Okay I admit, I haven’t read any books during my vacations, so I’m part guilty. But I do believe that today, as we had physics too, he realized (when he was doing some kind of ‘check-up’ of what we had studied so far) that a part of the lesson which we were tested on the day before has never been studied. Hah. He also gave us back a physics test we had done some time ago.. my grade: 6 out of 20. Whoopie. Fortunately I wasn’t the only one. Even the best students did something very mediocre. As for the maths test, I got 10 out of 20, and I was pretty happy for this, as I actually felt asleep at 6pm after school (instead of revising this test), and consequently, took this test without any lessons in my brain.

Whooopie! it’s vacations already. Thanks god my blog is up and working again (it wasn’t yesterday).
I was in desperate need of blogging so I had to post on (dead) Hi5.

I told you I was very tired. The teachers didn’t seem to understand that, as they even (cerise sur le gateau) made us take 3 exams on the last week of school. Indifferently-rushed teachers, really. 3 exams (maths, physics, french) that I sit, 3 exams that I screwed. Won’t expect much from them, as I didn’t expect much from me. I don’t blame myself for not working, this time, I’d rather blame teachers for putting these tests while we can’t take no more of them. Who the hell cares now, it’s done, and I’m really happy to be on vacations (even though I’m doing nothing, except maybe, procrastinating.. but I guess that’s the point of vacations, ain’t it?).

So to celebrate these highly-anticipated vacations, my friends and I, went to Disneyland on Saturday. We had to gather at the station at 8:30am; we were all here, except my friend (the one who held the Disney passes). She messaged us “wait, there’s a problem!”. What problem?! And she wouldn’t answer the phone. 10 minutes after, she finally gave us a call, telling us that she had lost the passes. Scared the crap out of me T_T. Then we called her once again, and said she found them… in the bin. Woooooo! What a relief. I thought our Disney escape would’ve been ruined. Fiooooou.
We arrived there, A BUNCH of people there already. We all felt so sleepy after the 1 hour journey in the train.. so we decided to start-off with Space Mountain. Actually, I used to be REALLY afraid of roller-coasters. A sort of phobia. I would recline any ride. But this time was the first time that I wholeheartedly wanted to ride it. I guess my phobia is gone? If it’s the case then I’m happy hehe ) The ride was awesome, as was the Rock’n'Roller, and more. We didn’t get to do much as the queue were so DAMN long… like 100 minute-queue for the Big Thunder Mountain and 75 minutes for Indiana Jones. Awwww. So I got to do 8 things by 9 hours. We also met Mickey, Minnie, Donalf, Pluto, Goofie, Ratatouille, Lilo&Stitch and lots more!

Anyway, back to the site. I’m preparing something new for the website =) So be prepared, it should be done by next week, if i’m not too lazy xD

Oh yeah, I’m supposed to go to Thailand for summer vacations on July 14th. However, school ends on June 10th so I might go somewhere else in the meanwhile. Maybe USA, but it’s so damn expensive.. if I could, I’d have tried to get a job, but I haven’t reached the legal age to work.. I still have to wait 8 more months -_-

Btw, I still don’t know which mp4 I should buy LOL.

AHH. I was supposed to post from Sydney (20 days ago!) but I got lazy for some reason. I should definitely post more.

SO YEAH! I’m now back from Bangkok. Vacations full of memories.. I arrived at Bangkok, then went to Sydney 4 days after to visit my cousins: it was raining/very sunny.. it was so awesome, I can’t wait to go back! I’m thinking of going there to enroll in an English program )

Then I (re)went back to Bangkok and did some shopping (my sister gave me a loooong list of what I had to buy -_-). Funny thing, I also gave some French pronounciation classes to Thai students haha. They were older than me but I awkwardly looked older than them heh >_<

I celebrated my birthday there too ) Actually, my mom owed me a computer, so we went to IT CITY to look out for the colored Sony Vaio Series CR (I really wanted something unique and not too big, and Sony was the only manufacturer who sold that, beside Dell, but their screen is so huge). However, Vaios are usually very expensive -___- But the one we were looking for was pretty okay, I guess. The only problem is that we couldn’t find the pink one I wanted at that price (I was first looking for the green one from the C Series but they are not selling it anymore), as they said it was sold out EVERYWHERE. The salesman just told us that a new model, same skin but upgraded specs, had just released, more expensive. Then I just thought it would be too much.. so I said no, reluctantly..
But surprise, my mom finally bought me the expensive one at Central World haha )

AND the last one. I saw TVXQ (if you don’t know them, they’re currently the most popular group in Asia LOL) at the airport. They were travelling at the same hour as me and the same day.. holy shit they were so hot.
